Rimmel mascara

Our favourite Corrie star Michelle Keegan may have enough money to buy designer brands....
I've found high street equivalents you can find for half the price!
I especially love the adorable Roxy polka dot bag. And this scarf from Jane Norman will keep you cosy all through winter.
Military coats are always in style and I love this navy coat.
Like Michelle, wear light make-up with a brush of mascara, not forgetting the BB cream everyone's been going on about the past year. I picked up this BB Cream yesterday in town and it goes on very easily and helps to cover up all those annoying blemishes.
As you know, I love brown leather bags and I found this one similar to Michelle's for just £40 on www.welikefashion.com.

Bringing a little bit of Summer your way...
My favourite subject in school is Spanish! As well as the language, I'm in love with the style, el estilo.
In Spain, they can wear summer clothes all day long. The one thing you love to wear on holiday is casual yet stylish. Relaxed yet cool. Voila! Sorry to introduce the french but anyway :)
Here's a collection of spanish fashion brands such as Mango, Pull and Bear and Prada. Think of leather brown vintage bags, flip flops, big big sunglasses, printed vests and washed out jeans. I especially love the Aztec style cardigan, for walking along the beach at night.
Who says its too early to prepare for the hols?

So christmas is over, but it still leaves New Year's Eve!
I've been searching for the perfect dress to party away New Year's Eve. I don't have much money as I'm unemployed (I've been searching for jobs since I turned 16 last year. now I'm 17 and still no luck) Well, anyway, I found this violet lace dress in H&M and it's only 15 quid!
I love feather earrings, and these pair match perfectly with the dress, as does the sparkly bangle. You can find cheap jewellery like this in Muse and also the Argento sale.
Not forgetting make-up and hair. Barry M eyeshadow dusts are amazing and they last for ages, even if they are a little dear. Also, don't be afraid to lather on the mascara. Tip: to avoid clumps, wiggle the mascara brush as you brush it on your eyelashes. It leaves voluminous lashes with zero of those horrible spider clumps!
I always style my hair by tying my layers back and leaving the rest but the above picture is a cute twist, literally. I use straighteners to curl my hair but I'd recommend the Babyliss curling wand (Buy it with your chrimbo money) as it doesn't burn the hair like my GHDs do when curling....:)
And finally these pair of strappy heels from River Island, which are a must for dancing til midnight..
See you next year!
Rocha John Rocha red glove
$14 - debenhams.com
Don't be afraid to step out in style even if it's below zero. These hobo gloves, beanie and quirky elk scarf will keep you cosy. The ripped jeans and fur trimmed parka oozes style, and who doesn't like Converse if you're going out for a casual walk. Winter never seemed so cool...
NARS Cosmetics silver nail polish
$23 - asos.com
The biggest bonus about winter has to be wrapping up warm in soft knits and autumnal colours.
Bursts of colour such as the orange in the jumper and your nails will lighten up any dark winter outfit. These Ugg heels are great for stepping out in style and comfort this new year's eve. And burgundy jeans are a fashion must this season!
Tip: if you're finding it hard to find a matching outfit, co-ordinate with make-up, jewellery, nail polish etc. For example, I wear a grey beanie with grey jewellery/nail paint. Or like above: orange fox, orange nail polish. Red jeans, red hat.
The season makes it even easier to do this because beanies, gloves, scarves etc. don't have to be matched with an outfit if they match each-other....and vice versa.
